Rosewood litter pickup

John McVay from the Multnomah County Department of Community Justice arranged for litter patrol in the Rosewood area.  Five people who were doing community service as part of their sentence performed litter patrol.  I went out and contacted them to thank them for picking up litter in the area.  The people doing the pick up said they were glad to be doing the litter patrol in Rosewood.  One of them lived in the Rosewood area.  We’ll try to have them out again soon.  Hope everyone can see some of the progress.

  1. The building with the blue roof or awning is the building that the Rosewood Initiative is working on setting up as a non-profit community cafe. It’s on the west side of 162nd, just south of Stark. The sign still reads “D and P Continental Market”.
