Building trust in Rosewood

At last week’s community meeting, we heard why many of you are involved in Rosewood.  There were common themes about improving safety and livability, building community, and changing the reputation of our neighborhood. Many of you shared that you can already feel the difference.  Since December, over 75 people have put in about 650 hours toward improving our neighborhood.  That is a low estimate and doesn’t even include July yet.  Awesome work, everyone!

  1. Tuesday August 2nd is National Night Out. Bringing neighbors into the streets, in many locations, to meet each other and share their community concerns. Most will have tasty treats avaiable. I have been invited to a few allowing me to share the Rosewood and Friends of Parklane updates. I also heard Wendy and her fellow officers will be making themselves available for snacks and conversation.
