Week 2 of Open Gym at Oliver Elementary was a huge success! We had 15 Rosewood youth come over to the school this afternoon. This is a great way for kids in the neighborhood to hang out and share the great resources at Oliver, for free!! Many thanks to Principal Ben Egbers, the SUN coordinators Dave and Kyle, and our core volunteers Britt Frederickson, Michelle Phillips and Milton Lopez. We’re looking forward to playing every Tuesday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30pm, so let us know if you’d like to be a volunteer. Spread the word to youth ages 12-16 in the Rosewood area. They’ll need to stop by Rosewood Cafe or Oliver to fill out a permission slip before they can participate.
Also, we need basketballs donated!!!!!!!
