Working on Safe Streets!

Writer's picture: Jossie de la GarzaJossie de la Garza

If you live in East Portland, you don’t need the Oregonian to tell you our streets are dangerous, especially if you walk and bike. Still, it is good to see that others in the city are paying attention. East Portland (including 82nd Ave.) has the 10 most dangerous intersections. The numbers in this article don’t even tell the whole story because the data lags about 3.5 years. This is why The Rosewood Initiative hired our Director of Transportation Equity. We want everyone to be able to be safe in their own neighborhood.
